About Us
We, the Independent Order of Odd Fellows (IOOF) Ellensburg Lodge No. 20, are located in downtown historic Ellensburg. We are a community driven organization dedicated to promoting friendship, love, and truth. With a rich heritage dating back to 1881, we strive to strengthen our community through projects and initiatives that support service, arts and culture, creativity, education, and community connection.
Our Mission in Action
At Ellensburg Lodge No. 20, one of the primary ways we put the mission of Odd Fellowship into practice is through the stewardship of our historic Lodge as a community-centered arts and cultural space. We are committed to maintaining a welcoming, accessible, and flexible place where arts, culture, creativity, education, and community connection can thrive in Ellensburg and the surrounding region.
More than an event venue, the Ellensburg Odd Fellows Lodge is an essential piece of local arts and cultural infrastructure. The Lodge provides artists, theatre companies, cultural organizations, students, educators, and grassroots community groups with a place to create, gather, and present work that might otherwise lack an appropriate or affordable home.
Through this stewardship, the Lodge supports both the creation of arts and cultural experiences and the opportunity for the public to participate in them, providing a space where creativity, culture, and community connection bring the broader mission of Odd Fellowship to life.
The IOOF Commitment
To improve and elevate the character of mankind by promoting the principles of friendship, love, truth, faith, hope, charity and universal justice.
To help make the world a better place to live by aiding each other, the less fortunate, the youth, the elderly, the environment, and the community in every way possible.
To promote good will and harmony amongst peoples and nations through the principle of universal fraternity, holding the belief that all men and women regardless of race, nationality, religion, social status, gender, rank and station are brothers and sisters.
